NFF Sec-Gen Resigns
The Secretary-General of
Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Musa Amadu has resigned from his post with the Federation.
Reasons for Amadu’s resignation were still sketchy as at press time but Tidesports gathered that the development would not be unconnected with disagreements between him and NFF President, Amaju Pinnick over the money from FIFA for Nigeria’s participation at the last world Cup, Brazil 2014.
It will be recalled that Amadu and others were the leaders of the Aminu Maigari led NFF resistance to attempts by forces to take over the leadership of the federation in recent time.
Meanwhile, observers have noted that development has shown that the NFF is never far from crisis, mostly internal crises that would certainly rock the Federation and Football in Nigeria.
It was gathered that the Head of International Department, Mohammed Sani, has taken over the duties of the Secretary-General on Interim capacity.
