Enugu FA Election Screening Holds, February 21

The screening of
candidates for election into the Enugu State Football Association, earlier scheduled to hold on February 16 and 17 has been shifted to February 21.
Secretary of the Election Committee, Sunday Ugwu said that the shift was due to unavoidable circumstanceS.
“The election will still hold on February 26 except that the screening will now hold on February 21 instead of 16 and 17.
“The collection of forms closed as at January 30, while the submission of forms ended on February 13 and the screening results will come out on February 24”.
Ugwu also urged the candidates to return their completed forms as stipulated, adding that those who failed to return their form latest Friday, February 13 will have themselves to blame.
“The election guideline has been out and we are going to follow the guideline strictly in order to beat the deadline for the election.
“Forms returned after Friday which is the deadline will be considered as being invalid and the candidate will not be allowed to contest”, Ugwu explained.
On the issue of security, Ugwu assured of provision of adequate security on the election day.
“Security is the first in our agenda and we are assuring every individual that there will be adequate security during the election.
“Enugu State FA elections have always been a peaceful one and will remain so in the forthcoming one”, he assured.
