Rivers Angels Start Training For Federation Cup

ball Club of Port Harcourt commenced training barely a week after the club returned from the African Women Championship held in Nambibia in preparations for 2014 Women Federation Cup competition.
Assistant Coach of the team, Whyte Ogbondah, said that the players are prepared for the Federations Cup competition scheduled to hold on 23rd of next month at the National Stadium, Abuja.
According to him, the team currently has three outstanding games to play before the end of this soccer season.
Coach Ogbondah, appealed to the players to be focused and committed to their chosen Sport, saying that determination is the bedrock to success.
He commended the players who returned from the national assignment especially their colourful performance and achievements at the African Women Championship.
It would be recalled the Angels are presently on 39 points, winning all their 11 home matches without a loss or a draw and top on the league table, too.
The second top on the league chat is Osun Babes FC with 34 points, followed by Pelican Stars FC with 32 points.
