NUJ Condoles With The Tide News Editor
The Rivers State Council of
the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has commiserated with Dr Alpheaus Paul-Worika, Deputy News Editor, of The Tide, on the death of his mother, Madam Beauty Tamunobubelebara Spencer Paul-Worika.
In a message to Dr Paul-Worika, signed by the secretary of the council, Mr Stanly Job Stanley, the union conveyed the condolences of all journalists in the State on the demise of Madam Beauty Paul-Worika.
The Secretary urged Dr Paul-Worika and other members of his family to take solace in the fact that their mother was a devout Christian who inculcated sound morals in her children and prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
Meanwhile, the Paul-Worika family of Ogu, in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area has announced the burial plans for Late Madam Beauty Spencer Paul-Worika who died recently at the age of 78 in course of a brief illness.
According to statement by her son, Dr Alpheaus Paul-Worika, Late Madam Beauty would be buried on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at her husband’s country home at Ogu after a commendation service at St Martins Church Ogu.
A devout Christian and trader, Late Madam Beauty is survived by five children, many grand and great grand children.
