The Unit Commander, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Badagry, Mr Salisu Galadunci,  yesterday, decried the state of the Badagry International Garage.
He told reporters in Badagry,  Lagos State, that the filth in the garage made it unconducive for business.
He said the garage had also become a hideout  for miscreants where they could launch attack on innocent citizens unnoticed.
“The Badagry garage, which is supposed to be an international motor park is in a disgusting state as it is now waterlogged, smelling and has become a hiding place for miscreants.
“It is worst now than before because of the rainy season and so many people have been  complaining about its deplorable  state.
“Because of this, commercial vehicles now park by the roadsides to pick passengers and this usually disrupts  free flow of vehicular movement, especially around the Badagry roundabout.’’
He appealed to relevant authorities to look into the unhygienic situation of the garage and find a lasting solution to it  in order to prevent any outbreak of an epidemic,.
Galadunci also appealed to the Federal Government to repair the Badagry express road.
He added that “presently, the state of the road is getting worse than it was in 2012, with many potholes, making it dangerous for motorists who ply it daily.
“The Federal Government should do something about the road in order to prevent mishaps.
