Enyimba In Glo League Title Chase

Enyimba remained in
the chase for the Nigeria league title after they beat El Kanemi Warriors 1-0 in a Week 35 game in Aba on Wednesday.
Enyimba remains third on the league table with 57 points from 35 games, while El Kanemi has 48 points from same number of matches.
Mfon Udoh scored the only goal of the match in the 48th minute to take his goals haul to 18.
Enyimba came close to increasing their lead. Emeka Nwana failed to connect Nzube Anaezemba’s cross and in the 52nd minute the veteran striker also came close to getting on the scoreboard.
Seven minutes later, Mfon Udoh missed a glorious chance to score a brace.
Udoh was then roughly brought down just outside box and Kingsley Sokari fired the resulting free kick over the bar in the 83rd minute as Enyimba went for more goals.
