The Nigeria Custom Ser

According to him, the  best  thing to do now, was to educate all stakeholders on the need to form a strong force in the transformation of the nation from information society to a knowledge based economy.
He explained that the economy would  strive on the production and dissemination of ideas.
The cartoon officer, also called  for a concerted investment in knowledge production via ICT, should  the country want to get it right in the area of insurgency.
The Tide, gathered that this requires urgent domestication and localisation of Nigeria  policy vertically through the various tiers of government across various ministries and departments in conjunction with IT professionals and practitioners.
The command, also lauded the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and others  over their  commitment through the deployment  of ICT  for information dissemination and other  opportunities.
It would be recalled that some experts in the country, including a Port Harcourt based NGO, have before now, suggested the case of ICT as the best option to tackle insecurity in the country.
