Middle-Aged Man Docked For Conspiracy
Twenty-five-year-old
middle-aged man, Goodluck Obi has been arraigned before a Port Harcourt Chief Magistrate Court for an alleged conspiracy and other criminal offences on charge sheet number PMC/650c/2014.
The accused person, Cosmos Obi 25, is standing trial of two court charge on felony and possession of master key before Chief Magistrate I.O. Agbesor.
The police persecuting officer, Sgt Aaron Nsirim told the court that the accused person on the 12th March, 2014 at Rukpoku in the Port Harcourt magisterial district attempted to commit felony.
He also told the court that the accused on the same date and place in the aforesaid magisterial district did have in his possession master key reasonably suspected to have been unlawfully obtained adding that the accused person committed an offence punishable under sections 509 and 430 of the criminal code cap 37 vol.11 laws of Rivers State 1999.
In his ruling, the presiding chief magistrate, I.O. Agbesor admitted the accused person to bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in like sum. The surety will deposit three passports and swear affidavit of means which shall be verified by the court prosecutor. The case was later adjourned to 21/5/2014.
