Tosin Targets Highest NNL Goal Scorer

United FC, Lagos, John Tosin,  has said that his target was to be the highest goal scorer in the 2013/2014 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.
The 2013/2014 season of the NNL will kick off on January 25.
Tosin told newsmen in Lagos that apart from his personal ambition of becoming the highest goal scorer of the league, he also intended to help the club gain promotion to the professional league.
“My personal target for the new season is to become the highest goal scorer of the league as a striker.
“However, my utmost goal is to help the team gain promotion to the professional league,” he said.
The striker said that he believed that his team could achieve being a part of the professional league at the end of the season if the players worked as a team.
At the end of every season four clubs from the NNL get promoted to the professional league.
Tosin who was discovered from the Sycoms Sports Foundation, a privately-owned sports academy, appealed to the youth to remain focused on achieving their dreams.
“What I can tell other youths both in the academy I was discovered from and other academies is that they should not lose hope.
“They should remain focused and strive to achieve their dreams no matter the challenges that come their way,” he said.
