Plateau Awards N30bn Contract For 3,000 Houses

State Government says it has awarded contract for the construction of 3,000 houses in Mararaba Jama’a axis of Jos.
The Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Mr Solomon Maren, told newsmen last Thursday, in Jos, that the houses were to actualise the “Greater Jos Master Plan”.
The commissioner said while presenting the title documents to ABC Shelters Nig. Limited, the construction firm for the project, that the project would cost N30 billion.
Maren added that the houses, which would be for the high, middle and low income earners, would generate more than 7,000 jobs for youths.
