NULGE Charges Members On Performance
Chairman of the
Nigerian Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ikole Ekiti chapter, Mr Ayodeji Adu, has charged members of the union on optimum performance in the new year.
Adu told journalists in Ekiti that workers should put in their best and be dedicated to their jobs.
According to him, it was expected that every member of NULGE will perform optimally to justify the regular payment of their salaries.
“In the previous years, our members discharged their duties with all sense of responsibility and we expect them to do more in 2014.
“We are not going to tolerate truancy, lateness and other forms of indiscipline from any member.
“So, every staff member should endeavour to contribute his or her quota to the development of the council.’’ he said.
Adu also urged council workers to ensure cordial and harmonious relationship with the management of the council.
