Rivers Angels Coach Explains Recent Form
Chief Coach of Rivers Angels FC of Port Harcourt, Edwin Okon has attributed the team’s recent 5-1 victory over FCT Queens of Abuja to determination and commitment of the players.
Okon made this known in a telephone chat with Tidesports briefly after their away win in the week 15 fixtures of the ongoing 2013 professional women league matches played at the weekend.
According to him, the team is not just determined to win laurels for the state but also committed to build up capacity in the sport in order to emerge champions and sustain its position at all times.
Okon further maintained that the major keys for any success is to work hard and keep winning as to attain the desired height.
“We have worked hard, we are wining and are prepared for the higher task which is to get to the peak,” he said.
The however, advised the players to keep up with their good works and not to relent saying that, the expected reward would surely come.
Meanwhile, the Rivers Angels are presently on 35 points from 16 matches played so far.
