Cleric Admonishes Christians On Constant Prayers
Christains have been reminded of the need to stand firm on the word of God.
The visiting International Presiding Elder of Faith Tabernacle Congregation (FCT) worldwide from United States of America, (USA), Kenneth Yeager made the call during a special service held at the National Headquarters of the church at Aba, Abia State recently.
Pastor Yeager, who spoke on the theme, “Be Strong, firm in the Lord”, said with the signs of the end time all over the world, there is need for all believers to pray without ceasing in order not to fall prey to satan so that the devil will have no place in their lives.
He admonished them to speak the truth and be honest, stressing that when Christians are sincere and steadfast, God will take them through all trials and temptations, and give them victory after all.
The man of God further said that the desire of all Christians should be to confess Christ before men, support the weak in spirit, and in love abstain from evil and prove our faithfulness in God, and admonished members of the church to love one another, support the ministers and be at peace among themselves for the spiritual goal before them.
At a farewell ceremony, the National Presiding Elder of the Church in Nigeria, Pastor Marshal Wellington Bara said the visit of the International Presiding Elder of the Church worldwide, after visiting Lagos, Accra in Ghana, Cotonou in Benin Republic and other towns in Nigeria was a specially spirit refreshing time.
