CAF Champions League: Rangers Get Injury Boost

Enugu Rangers have been boosted by the quick recovery of some of their injured players ahead of their weekend CAF Champions League fixture against Recreativo Libobo of Angola.

Defenders Ekene Iwuorie and Ousmane Pape Sane resumed training this week although the Senegalese defender (Sane) will still not be available for this weekend’s game.

The club captain Godwin Ayalogu has also shaken off injury and will be available for this weekend’s Champions League game.

Rangers defeated Nike United 3-1 in their Federation Cup game, and will play Riverlane FC in the next round.

Riverlane knocked out Rangers’ feeder team after defeating them 2-1.
