Body Plans Workshop On Grassroots Sports
In a bid to take grassroots sports to the next level, Ebony Mega Sports International, Port Harcourt has concluded arrangements to organise a two day workshop at the multi purpose Hall of the Alfred Diette-Spiff Sports Complex, to address issues concerning sports at that level.
The workshop scheduled for the 13th and 14th of this month is tagged “Conflict Resolution Through Sports and Legislature for Sports Development at grassroots.
The President of Ebony Mega Sports, Hon. Victor Amadi, told Tidesports that the programme is geared towards fighting crisis affecting sports development at the grassroots level.
He said that the seminar would also be used to expose talents by organising sporting activities at the grassroots.
The workshop is being put in place by Ebony Mega Sports International in conjunction with the Rivers State House of Assembly Committee on Sports.
Hon. Amadi, also, told Tidesports, that the body which is also responsible for organising the All Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Football Cup competition that has been held twice in Rivers State was set to bring back the local government competition on stream.
The seminar was earlier slated for the 16th and 17th of May before the change in date.
