The Chairman of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Rivers State Chapter, Ms Enale Ndubere Kodu, has called on all the women in the state to embark on intercessory prayers.

In the face of what could be perceived as a heated polity, occasioned by the activities of the Boko-Haram Sect, Ms Kodu enjoins women not to resort to panic nor despair but see it as a time to seek the face of God and ask for his intervention in the peace and unity of our great country Nigeria.

In her New Year message to the women of the State, Ms Kodu also enjoins them not to see the removal of Oil Subsidy as a problem but to still resort to God in prayers in all their endeavours. According to her, the plight eventually will be more on the mothers and wives as home makers.

As she wished them a happy, prosperous and fulfilling new year the NAWOJ Chairman also tasked them to ensure their wards and children do not get involved in any anti-social vice.
