The Coach of Zamfara United FC, Alhassan Mohammed, has expressed worry over the team’s relegation from the Nigeria Premier League, than his 4-0 defeat by Dolphins FC at the Liberation Stadium, Port Harcourt on Wednesday.

Mohammed disclosed this in an interview with Tidesports shortly after one of the concluding matches of the 2010/2011 Premier League season between Zamfara FC and Dolphins FC.

According to him, he felt the way a coach should feel when a team lost to a bigger team and declared his commitment to serve the Zamfara FC to victory whether relegated from the premier league or not.

“It is my team and my state too will remain with them and we do everything possible to bring the team back we have just one  game left and presently we have 39 points, even if we win our remaining match it will make no difference, he said”.

Meanwhile, the match which was rather slow in the first half saw Olwezi Johnson scoring the curtain raiser in the 8th minute, and Zamfara fought back like wounded lions but could not equalize the score line as efforts made was fruitless.

Also Derick Ndu Amadi’s 43rd minutes goal demoralized the visitors hope to fight back as Dolphins increased their goal tally by three with Olewzi’s 68th minute goal.

However, the Zamfara players lost focus due to heavy pressure mounted at their goal mouth by their opponent.

Dolphins FC is currently on 70 points in the premier league.
