Dana Airlines Begins Night Flight Operations

Dana Airlines Limited has commenced night flight operations from Port Harcourt to Abuja.

The new service which aims at giving passengers early flight from Port Harcourt to Abuja continues to Lagos.

Director, Flight Operations of Dana Airlines, Captain Oscar Wason told journalists at the Port Harcourt International Airport, Omagwa that the aircraft Boeing MD-83 Aircraft arrives Port Harcourt in the evening and leaves for Abuja at 4.47am

He said” “we move night flight and leave in the morning at 4.47am for people having meeting early in Abuja to arrive early and the aircraft comes back to Port Harcourt in the evening. It leaves Abuja for Lagos in the afternoon and it is a daily flight”.

According to him, the aircraft carries 140 passengers – 12 business class and 120 economy, pointing out that their fare is fairer and can be booked online or in Dana office.

“Dana Airlines are IT driven and by online or in the office”, Wason stressed, adding “we have gained our reliability in Nigeria and it’s one of the most reliable airlines in Nigeria and on time departure”.

Describing the airlines relationship with the Federal Airports Authority of  Nigeria (FAAN) as cordial, capt Wason said “our major challenge is to gain a greater market in Nigeria”.

“We are enjoying our presence in Nigeria and Port Harcourt is one of our main objectives with easy connection flight to major cities in Nigeria”.

On staff training, he noted that Dana staff have gone through its reservation system as they emphasise on training in both security and customer service while ensuring that flying customers get the value for their money.
