Bayelsa To Computerise Justice Ministry
The Bayelsa State Government wants to computerise the Ministry of Justice to facilitate service delivery.
The State’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Anthony George-Ikoli made this known in Yenagoa recently.
He was receiving the Paramount Ruler of Nembe Kingdom, King Edmond Daukoru, who paid him a courtesy visit.
George-Ikoli said the ministry was committed to efficient and effective service delivery.
He said the introduction of modern information technology into the ministry’s daily operations would enhance service delivery.
The Attorney-General commended the paramount ruler for his goodwill and commitment to Justice.
He said the introduction of high-tech information machinery would promote interconnectivity in the service.
George-Ikoli said the government had completed the first phase of renovation of its official complex and the equipment of various departments with modern facilities.
In his remark, King Daukoru expressed delight on the level of dedication and commitment to duty exhibited by the staff of the ministry.
He said that with the improved technology, the ministry would be a powerhouse in the machinery of governance.
Daukoru commended the Attorney-General for his achievements.
He said the ministry’s facelift would motivate the staff to achieve the objectives of the ministry.
