Royal Arts Academy Debuts In Nollywood
As a means of providing proper and qualitative training for future film makers and ensuring continuity in Nollywood, the Royal Film Academy has been established by a seasoned Nollywood film producer, Emem Isong, who produced blockbuster movies such as Games Men play, Reloaded and Guilty Pleasures among others.
In an interview with the press recently, Emem said the Academy will provide a platform for the students to interact with like minds and veterans in the industry by offering first class training to the students who will in turn be able to produce excellent films that will further elevate Nollywood and bring it at par with international community.
She disclosed that the Academy runs courses in acting, screen writing and directing, stressing that it is the focus of the Academy that at the end of every season, the students will be able to produce a movie, soap opera and or series written by the screen writers class.
According to her, one special attribute that distinguishes this Academy from others is that the Royal Arts Academy also acts as artiste managers, casting agency for other production consultants while also offering film support to other producers across the country.
