Algeria Hopes For Second Place

Algeria were initially happy just to make up the numbers at the World Cup, but having been drawn into Group C, the Fenecs are now starting to dream of greater things.

Speaking exclusively to Tide sports’ source, Captain Yazid Mansouri outlined his team’s ambitions, saying, “This is a good draw.”

“England are the top team, but the U.S.A and Slovenia are beatable. Our advantage is none of the teams know us very well.

“I saw the U.S.A playing in the Confederations Cup, and they did not impress me much.”

Mansouri then stressed his optimism, continuing, “We must take it game by game.”

“It is essential to start well against Slovenia. The objectice is to finish second”.
