Pray Out Your Destiny Cleric Urges Youths
Prayerlessness has been identified as one of the problems facing Christian youths in the country. This disclosure was made by the Region Six Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor S. E. Akande while speaking at a recent youth programme, organised by RCCG, Province I, Youth Ministry, titled, “Destiny Gathering”
He said youths after giving their lives to God must learn to pray as this has everything to do with their destiny.
The cleric urged youths never to look down on themselves, saying that they should rather see themselves the way God sees them. According to him God sees them as dynamites awaiting to explode, adding that where they are coming from has noting to do with their future.
Speaking on the theme, “Discover and Capture your Destiny,” he said for the youths to carry the fire of God that will help them lead a glorious life, they must be ready to make sacrifices.
He also opined that they need heart of commitment as God is ever ready to fight for those whose hearts are committed to him and to supply their needs.
It could be recalled that the “Destiny Gathering” was the hallmark of this year’s national youth weekend with the theme “Wisdom for Glorious Living” which kicked off on the 22nd of this month nation wide.
The programme which took place at the Regional Camp, Aluu, featured prayers, prophetic declarations, drama presentation and music which was supplied by youth choirs from the different zones.
