English Premiership Still Pulls Osaze
Nigeria internationall, Osaze Odemwingie has again declared that it is his dream to play in the English Premiership.
“The Premier League is where everyone now wants to play, and obviously I would also now take a much closer look at an offer from any Premier League club that is interested in signing me,” the Lokomotiv Moscow striker has said.
“I have supported several English clubs like Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United. I also have a soft spot for Barcelona and Milan.
“I wish to play for any of the top ten clubs in Europe, I think they call them the ‘G-10’. And I believe I’m on the right path to doing that very soon as I have improved year after year.”
The former Lille forward has been linked with several English clubs, including Everton and Blackburn Rovers.
Odemwingie, 28, who has also played in Belgium, added that he wishes to feature for a top club because he wants “to win trophies”.
Last Sunday, the striker was named Nigeria’s Footballer of the Year by top television station African Independent Television (AIT), ahead of Real Zaragoza striker Ikechukwu Uche and international goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama.
