Stoke City midfielder Seyi Olofinjana says he is pleased with the amount of speculation concerning his future at the club, but claims he is not looking for a move.

Three French Ligue 1 clubs have reportedly declared their interest in signing the Nigeria international, but the player feels that the level of interest merely shows that he is doing well.

Monaco have allegedly made a bid of £3-million for the former Wolves player and Marseille and Paris Saint Germain are also rumoured to be interested in acquiring the midfielder.

Marseille will look to sign the 29-year-old if they fail in their bid to sign Stephane M’Bia from PSG.

The Nigerian midfielder has declared that he is flattered by all the transfer talk and added that he is not ruling out a move to France.

Speaking to our source, Olofinjana said: “It’s great to be linked; it means you are doing well. I’m fine at Stoke, but you never know in football. I will return fit for the start of pre-season. I’m happy in England but …”

The former Brann player has been at the club for a year and has made 18 league appearances for the club, scoring two goals.
