The newly installed Eze Ahia-Ahu ll of Egi Ogbaland in Ogba\/Egbema\/Ndoni Local Government Area, Rivers State, HRH, Eze Ndubueze A.O. Isoma ll has pledged to foster sustainable peace and increase the tempo of development in the area.
\n\u00a0 Eze Isoma made the vow after his installation at the Anamoji playground, Erema Town, by the Head of the Ahia-Ahu Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, Eze Z.E. Isabu(JP), even as he thanked the people for finding him worthy to be their traditional ruler.
\n\u00a0 The new Eze Ahia-Ahu ll who replaces the Late Eze Ahia-Ahu l, Eze Christopher S. Nwaonumah, used the occasion\u00a0 to call for support, saying the business of socio-economic growth of the community is a collective task.
\n\u00a0 Performing the ceremony, Eze Z.E. Isabu\u00a0 (JP) noted that Eze Isoma was chosen for the lasting position because of his lofty personality and philanthropic disposition.
\n\u00a0 Eze Isabu noted\u00a0 that, it was necessary to maintain the ancestral heritage and to ensure that the people\u2019s history was well documented for the unborn generations.
\n\u00a0 He called on the chiefs and people of the area to protect the age long tradition and right of the people and also ensure that the appropriate family heads were accorded their rightful places in the scheme of\u00a0 things.
\n\u00a0 Eze Isabu stressed the need for peace in the interest of national unity and urged the people to support government programmes\u00a0 to attract the dividends of democracy.
