Barrister Atauwo Job Urang, eldest daughter of the former Director of Finance and Administration ,Rivers state Newspaper Corporation, Mr Job O Urang was among the 121 eminent lawyers sworn in as Notary publics by the chief Judge of Rivers state on Monday.
\nBarrister Atauwo Job Urang who hails from Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers state has been in law practice since 2012.
\nSpeaking in an interview with newsmen, the newly sworn in Notary public described the event as a dream come true, adding that she remains eternally grateful to God Almighty for the journey so far in the practice of law.
\n\u201cToday I\u2019m so excited,I\u2019m happy because I have been sworn in as a Notary public of Nigeria.I just want to give God the glory\u201d.
\nShe said her journey in the law profession,has been quite challenging, and attributed her success to patience dedication and commitment.
\nAccording to her,\u201dtoday the Lord has deemed it fit\u00a0 for me to be a Notary public of Nigeria
\n\u201cI have practiced all these years and today the Lord has deemed it fit for me to be among the Notary public of Nigeria
\n\u201cI have practiced for 15 years as a lawyer \u201cshe said.
\nAtauwo Job Urang further described the task before her as a huge responsibility, but promised to discharge it credibly.
\nAccording to her \u201cit is a very big responsibility,I will try my best and I will ensure that I strictly follow the ethics of the profession
\nShe advised those who are yet to be appointed as Notary publics to be patience as their own time will surely come.
\n\u201cI want to say that it is good for you to be patient because it took me a lot of time since 2022
\n\u201cI have been applying for this and then you have to be patient, you don\u2019t have to feel bad when it doesn\u2019t come at that time, but whenever it comes you just have to thank God because God\u2019s time is the best \u201cshe said\u00a0.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
