{"id":350441,"date":"2025-12-08T02:29:24","date_gmt":"2025-12-08T01:29:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thetidenewsonline.com\/?p=350441"},"modified":"2025-12-07T17:20:02","modified_gmt":"2025-12-07T16:20:02","slug":"rivers-nysc-cordinator-task-corps-members-on-peace-building","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thetidenewsonline.com\/?p=350441","title":{"rendered":"Rivers NYSC Cordinator task corps members on peace building\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"gs\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<div id=\":v2\" class=\"ii gt\">\n<div id=\":v1\" class=\"a3s aiL\">\n<div id=\"avWBGd-505\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">Corps Members have been urged to use the rich cultural heritage of Nigerians to promote peace in the state and country at large.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Rivers State Coordinator\u00a0 of NYSC Mr. Moses Oleghe gave the charge\u00a0 during the inter-platoon cultural carnival competition for 2025 Batch C Corps Members deployed to the State orientation camp, Nonwa-Gbam Tai held over the weekend.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Oleghe while addressing the Corps Members, further charged them to be a \u201csource of light in their host communities,\u201d noting that the \u201csymbolic lighting of the cultural carnival torch means that every Corps Member must be the light that dispels darkness.\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">He urged them to integrate and internalize the culture of the people of their area where they serve, strengthen cultural practices that promote human dignity, rights, and respect.\u201d<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The radiant and colorful event witnessed the regeneration and rebirth of various ethnic cultures by the Corps Members.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">At the end of the competition, 4 platoon was adjudged the overall best, 9 platoon 2nd and 6 platoon 3rd.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"yj6qo\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"adL\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"avWBGd-506\" class=\"WhmR8e\" data-hash=\"0\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Corps Members have been urged to use the rich cultural heritage of Nigerians to promote peace in the state and country at large.
