Ahead of the 2022 Christmas celebration,\u00a0 a total of\u00a0 27 ships laden with various cargos are expected in Lagos port terminals today to discharge cargos.
\nThis was contained in the current Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) weekly magazine, \u201cThe Shipping Position\u201d issued to TheTide in Port Harcourt.
\nThe manifest said the Expected dates of Arrival (ETA) for the ships to berth is from 17th to 24th December 2022.
\nThe magazine listed the names of the 27 ships expected at Lagos pilotage District 1 this week to include Genco Vigilante, Green Chile, Petrus Zonda, Cool Girl, Bocs Africa and Unity.
\nOthers are: Sino Trust, Tornado\u2019s, Black Pearl, Sapet Gas, West More and Bold Mariners.
\nThe Magazine also listed the cargos laden in the vessels as\u00a0 Bulk Wheat, Frozen Fish, PMS, AGO, and general cargos.
\nOther cargos in the ships include Bulk Gas, Containers, Bulk SALT and Bulk Urea.
\nAgents for the ships include Allison, Alraine, Blue Seas, Blue Star, Cosco, De E Rock, Peak, Rehdors, Tera and Vewat.
\nThe weekly said the arrival of these vessels this Yuletide season is expected to make PMS, AGO, Frozen Fish and bulk salt more affordable to end users and create jobs for Dockworkers in the terminals<\/p>\n
