\nGovernment has been blamed over the difficulty associated with accessing the portal for federal civil service commission recruitment.
\nSome of the prospective applicants who spoke with The Tide Tuesday in Port Harcourt said the online platform for the recruitment was not working.
\nAn applicant, Miss Uwem Emmanuel, said the portal was that bad as it could not open for a whole week.
\nShe said the idea of the exercise was dropped after repeated fruitless efforts to access the portal.
\nEmmanuel noted that no one has successfully applied for the federal job due to the hitches associated with the process.
\nShe reasoned that the operators of the exercise may not be sincere with the exercise going by the challenges experienced so far.
\nAnother respondent, Mr. Emewakeme Onovughe, regretted that both money and time were wasted in cyber caf\u00e9 in an attempt to register the online recruitment exercise.
\nHe said the best way to go about it was to design six different portals to enable applicants from the six geo-political zones access it easily.
\nOnovughe, argued that such initiatives would encouraged more application from the applicants.
\nWhile Tina Okoro technical challenges, called on the Federal Government to upgrade the system.
\nShe explained that the situation has become a source of concern for the applicants, especially in this period of economic recession.
