PDP NEC Appoints Interim NWC To Steer Party Affairs
The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) rose from its 103rd meeting in Abuja, announcing the setting up of a 13-member Interim National Working Committee chaired by Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN.
The decision of the NEC meeting followed the judgment of the Supreme Court, and as part of the move to strengthen party administration and ensure constitutional adherence.
Significantly, a two-thirds majority of the 103rd National Executive Committee (NEC) of the PDP officially appointed and inaugurated the Interim National Working Committee (INWC).
The newly appointed leadership is tasked with managing the party’s executive operations with immediate effect.

The NEC of the PDP stated that the transition marked a significant step in maintaining the stability and structural integrity of the party.
