Armslent Foundation Donates Materials To Nyemoni State School

Armslent Foundation, a Non Governmental Organisation in Rivers State has donated educational materials worthy millions of Naira to Nyemoni State School, Abonnema l.

The foundation  said the materials would  aid the pupils  to enhance their learning.

Founder of the Foundation, Richard Boma Briggs, said the foundation decided to donate the materials to the  school as part of its constitutional projects to the pupils  and enhance their academic welfares

Briggs said the Foundation has decided to carry out this gesture annually to the school as way of giving back to the society, adding that in 2026, the foundation will make it bigger and better.

“Armslent are here to know the welfares of the students and teachers of this school.

“Come 2026, Armslent Foundation will make it bigger and better for the pupils,” he said.

The foundation also donated the sum of One Hundred Thousand Naira to the management of Nyemoni State School Abonnema.

The educational materials donated by the foundation include, textbooks, school bags, sandals, mathsets and other valuable educational materials.

Also speaking, Managing Director of the Foundation, Richard Osigbo, said the foundation was motivated to donate the materials due to the hardships faced by students and pupils in Nigerian schools.

He described the educational materials as Back to School materials to pupils of Nyemoni State School Abonnema.

Osigbo said the materials would assist the pupils to improve on learning abilities and learn better.

He described lack of supports and partnership as problems faced by the foundation and solicited for more partnerships to enable the foundation strives better.

Earlier, Head Teacher, Nyemoni State School Abonnema, Madam Boma Sampson, thanked the foundation for donating the materials to the pupils of the school.

She commended the foundation for supporting the school, describing the donation as a yearly exercise and urging the pupils to make judicious use of the items.

The Head Teacher also called on state government and Akuku Toru Local Government to assist the school with generating sets to power light in the school.

Sampson also appealed to the state government to assist and repair the school leaking roofs as the pupils most times learn under leaking roofs.

Highlights of the event include the presentation of awards by the Head Teacher of the school, Madam Boma Sampson, and Lady Lumo Felix to the Management  of Foundation.
