Stop Lying About Your Wealth, Odinkalu Knocks Buhari

A former chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, has urged ex-President Muhammadu Buhari not to lie about his wealth.
Prof. Odinkalu, in a post on X (formerly Twitter), said the former president was no longer running for office and should quit deceiving people about his wealth or its source.
The former president even before running for office had said that he only had 150 cows and his family House in Katsina.
In a recent speech last week, the former president stated that his family only relies on the income from his two rented houses in Kaduna State.
Former President Buhari said, “I did not corruptly enrich myself as President.”
However, in his post on X, Prof Odinkalu said, “Someone should please tell Muhammadu Buhari that he is no longer running for the office of Messiah, therefore, no longer has any need to keep lying about his earthly acquisitions.”
