Council Boss Flags Off Projects 

The Chairman of Oyigbo Local Government Council of Rivers State, Hon Gift Okere, has flagged off three impactful projects in the area to mark his three months in office.
The three projects flagged off simultaneously are Oyigbo Motor Park; Umuagbai Market reconstruction and the renovation of the entire council secretariat.
Flaging off the projects at Oyigbo, the chairman assured the people that the projects will he completed in few months time.
He said the people were consulted before embarking on the projects, assuring his desire to complement the efforts of the Governor Fubara administration at the local level.
He said all the wards will be captured on his development agenda, saying it is time to come together as a people to support the state government led by an Ndoki son.
Okere restated his commitment to carry everyone along in the scheme of things.
Other speakers like Eze Nwankwo Nwankwo of Umuagbai Okobo, former Commissiiners, Pastor Nancy Nwankwo and Barrister Ndubuisi Nwankwo eulogised the council chairman for embarking on people – oriented projects while soliciting support for him.
