NPFL: Sports Commissioner Hands Cash Rewards To Players
The commissioner for Sports in Rivers State Barrister Chris Green, has splashed cash rewards on players and technical crew of Rivers United FC of Port Harcourt.
The Pride of Rivers defeated Akwa United 2-1 in the Matchday 5 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) and they are top of the log.
The Commissioner gave the team 2 million as a reward for their efforts against Akwa United.
Goals from Stephen Manyo and Ndifreke Effiong ensured that Rivers United remained flawless this season.
The Port-Harcout based side has garnered 13 points in 5 matches this season
