Commissioner Drums Support For Fubara

The Rivers State Commissioner for Urban and Physical Development, Hon Isaac Emejuru, has called on his people to continue to support Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his administration, to enable him succeed in office.
Recall that the Commissioner has often used every forum to drum support for his principal.
The Urban and Physical Development Commissioner’s latest drumming of support for Governor Fubara follows the empowerment of widows and the distribution of official cars to the Ogba/ Egbema / Ndoni CTC members by the council chairman.
Hon Umejuru,who apparently went on his knees, urged the widows and women of his area to continually throw their weight behind the performing Governor.
The Usomini -born politician said Governor Fubara has shown his interest in the unparalleled development of his people,hence, the need to reciprocate his good works.
He explained that in the annals of ONELGA politics, no Governor has appointed two Commissioners from the same LGA if not Governor Fubara who has done so.
The former ONELGA CTC Chairman noted that his people have every reason to rally round the present administration in the State.
“For the first time in our history, two of your children are serving in Fubara’s cabinet. Since our appointment, we have not disappointed His Excellency and our people. My humble self and the Commissioner for Health have remained committed in the discharge of our duties and putting our people first, thereby living up to the expectations and desires of our people.
Governor Fubara has appointed some ONELGA sons in various sensitive positions such as the Rivers State University (RSU) Governing Council: Chairman, RIWAMA; Chairman, Pensions Board; and in other notable strategic positions.The ongoing
reconstruction of Omoku-Egbeda- Elele road; the commissioned Egbema-Omoku road as well the Ahaoda- Omoku road are fundamental achievements His Excellency should be celebrated for. We remain grateful for the support Golden Governor Peter Odili has been giving him.
As a father who built the real structure, we shall continue to support him and pray for long life.Following these achievements, we don’t need anyone to tell us that Governor Fubara means well for ONELGA people.
He has demonstrated it both in appointments, human capital development and empowerment of our people.Thepeace which ONELGA people are enjoying today, courtesy of Governor Fubara has been able to attract investors and growth to the area.
As a people, we pledge to do everything humanly possible to sustain it. This empowerment today is part of Governor Fubara’ s directive to all the 23 LGA chairmen to chase away poverty among our people.We are happy the CTC chairmen have adhered to it, being the reason we gather at this place.
We assure the women and ONELGA people that it will be a continuous process,” he said.
