Reactions Trail ASALGA’s Empowerment Scheme

Reactions have continued to trail the recent empowerment of the Asaru-Toru Caretaker Committee chairman, Hon Orolosama Amachree in Buguma, headquarters of the local government area.
Some of the beneficiaries described the gesture as unprecedented in the political annals of the local government.
Grace Wokoma, one of the recipients expressed joy over the CTC Chairman’s gesture to drive away poverty.
Wokoma described the empowerment as one of the best things that could happen to ASALGA people including non-indigenes.
She noted that this singular move by the CTC chairman who is barely one month in office deserves commendation.
“We are happy over Hon Orolosama’s wonderful gesture geared towards assisting his people. Honestly, ASALGAns have never seen this before. It is unbelievable, just one month in office, we are seeing N2 million; N1million; N500,000; N250,000; and N100,000 given to over 200 residents of ASALGA by the CTC chairman. I think he is following his political father, Governor Fubara’s foot- steps. If God permits, he will do better as elected chairman,” she said.
