Perm Sec Tasks Workers On Dedication
The Permanent Secretary of Rivers State Ministry of Finance, Mr. James Ngochindu, has urged staff of the Ministry to be humble and dedicated in the discharge of their duties.
Speaking at a reception organised in honour of Mr. Chukwuma Ndudi Augustine who has been elevated to the position of a Permanent Secretary, Mr Ngochindo described him as a hardworking man who is very dedicated to his job.
He congratulated Mr Chukwuma and enjoined all the staff to take every assignment given to them seriously bearing in mind that success will only come from dedication to their jobs.
In his speech, the Director of Administration, Mr. Stephen Adue, thanked God for uplifting Mr. Chukwuma and described the new Permanent Secretary as a punctual and committed staff and encourage others to always be punctual and dedicated to their jobs at all times, adding that the rewards will surely come one day.
Speaking on behalf of the Treasury Department and the Accountant General’s Office, the Director, Treasury, Mr. Maxwell Leeh congratulated the new Permanent Secretary, and charged people to be nice to others because no one knows who their destiny helper would be.
Responding, Mr. Chukwuma in an emotional laden voice appreciated everyone for the honour, and prayed for God’s guidance on everyone who has taken time to wish him well.
It would be recalled that His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara recently elevated six Directors of the State Civil Service to the rank of Permanent Secretaries. Mr. Chukwuma Ndudi Augustine was until his appointment , a staff of Ministry of Finance.
