Dimkpa Explains Why He Sponsored Karate Championship

The third editon of Strata Base National Open Karate Championship, draw its curtain close on Saturday, at the Alfred Diete Spiff Sports Complex Moscow road, in Port Harcourt.
The four day event saw a massive display of good karating skills from athletes, where 23 States and Clubs participated.
Speaking shortly after the championship the sponsor of the programme Engr. Chukwudi Dimkpa, said his major reason to sponsor the championship was a way of giving back to the society.
According to him, is another way to eradicate social vices in our society, saying when you engaged youths meaningful they would not have the time to indulge themselves in nefarious activities?
“I sponsored the Karate Championship because a way to give back to society and getting kids out off the streets. You know when you engaged them meaningfully they would not have the time social vices”,
He uses the forum appeal to other private organisations to sponsor sporting competitions to promote and develop sports in the State.
