“While we hope to prioritise the implementation of the SDGs, we will also work to ensure that the greater number of youths in the state are self-employed through digital skills”, he stated.
The Tide’s source reports that the election followed the state convention of the association which produced 18 ambassadors representing the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
The convention also produced the ward assembly comprising of representatives from all the 196 wards of the state.
Mr Angela Effefiom was elected as the Deputy Speaker.
Earlier, the Chairman of the electoral committee, Ms Eugene Ojua, said the state chapter of the Assembly was established in 2019.
She said the vision of the Assembly was to unlock the potential of youths and create a Nigeria where every young person can thrive.
