The FIFA window for March holds between March 18 through 26 and the world’s football governing body has detailed that only two games can be played per team during this period.
The last game between both nations was at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia which the Albiceleste won 2-1 but the Eagles have famously beaten Argentina twice on June 1, 2011 (4-1) and 14th November, 2017 (4-2) while Argentina have edged Nigeria five times at the FIFA World Cup in 1994, 2002, 2010, 2014 and 2018. The Eagles lost all.
The international friendly game is slated for China in pursuance of the renewed agreement between the Argentine Football Association and Chinese leading agency, Wanda Sports for the outfit to serve as commercial representative of the Argentina national team in 2024.
