Successful Polo Tournament Excites President In PH

The President of the Port Harcourt Polo Club,  Ebi Diriyai has expressed joy over the successful hosting of the just concluded Polo Club tournament in the State.
According to him, the one week tournament has brought a lot of excitements among players and spectators, saying that he was delighted and excited following the huge turnout during the competition.
Diriyai said this on Saturday in an interview with sports journalists shortly after the closing ceremony of the tournament, at the Port Harcourt Polo Club.
The President who won his first trophy in the game explained that in his five months as the President of the club there were tremendous improvements geared towards quality leadership and development of the game.
“I am delighted and excited over the huge turnout during the tournament and I am also very happy because this is my first tournament I have hosted as a President.
“In my five months as a President of the club I have brought some dramatic change and transformation in the club. You can see the transformation ongoing in the club.
“We are going to set up a rider school upstairs and it is a programme we will introduce to kids about the game” Diriyai Said.
He further explained that when the rider school commences the club will write to various secondary schools in the State with the view to groom the young ones to stardom.
