LG Boss Hails Oba Traditional Council For Honouring Chief

The Chairman of Ogba/ Egbema / Ndoni Local Government Council, Hon Vincent Job, has showered encomiums on the Oba Traditional Council over the recent coronation of Chief Dennis Masi, who is a constitutional lawyer.
Job, however, restated his call on the youths to embrace peace and support leaders to lead aright .
The council boss urged youths to emulate the life style of Chief Masi, who he said has brought honour to his generation through hard work, determination and commitment.
Job said the coronation of Chief Masi remains one of the best things that had happened to his people following his contributions and impact in the land.
He, however, advised the chief to remain focused in his effort to sustain peace and live up to expectation.
He said the crowd that witnessed the coronation ceremony shows that he is a man to be reckoned with, saying his efforts at bettering the lives of the youths and his immediate environment remain a good testimony to all.
In his speech, the celebrant, Chief Masi expressed his joy over the success of the occasion, and assured of a harmonious relationship between him and the Oba-In- Council.
Chief Masi said his recognition by the highest traditional institution in Ogbaland means a lot to him and, therefore, would never be taken for granted.
He said efforts would be made to improve on the culture and tradition of the people, stressing that this could only be accomplished through collective efforts.
He promised that the peace of the area would be his primary focus.
While commending all for according him the honour of recognition, he said it would spur him to do more for the people.
