Group Hails Fubara Over Supreme Court Victory
A group of lbani indigenes of the Duawaris Founding and Aboriginal Royal House of Ancient Ibani nation( Ibanise), the Sir Siminalayi Fubara Brick House Project( BHP) has congratulated Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State over his Supreme Court victory.
The group thanked God for the victory, and urged the Governor to regard it as victory for the entire Rivers people and residents of the State, as well as a mark of democracy in the country.
It noted in a statement signed by its leading member and Dappaye Amakiri XVll, Opobo Kingdom, HRH Alabo Professor Emeritus Dagogo M J Fubara; and Aseme-Alabo(HRH) Edward Tamunosimikarama Bristol-Alagbariya, the Supreme Court victory was well-deserved.
The group, therefore, urged Governor Fubara to concentrate on governance so as to strengthen his delivery of good governance to the State, as well as commit his administration to the care and direction of the Almighty God towards the overall good and all-embracing wellbeing of Rivers people and residents of the State.
While congratulating Governor Fubara on the victory, the group enjoined him to also remain guided by the sacredness of the social contract of governance between government and the governed, to the glory of Almighty God.
