Rivers Police Charge 68 Suspects To Court Over DPO’s Murder
The Rivers State Police Command has charged 68 suspects to the High Court in Port Harcourt, in connection with the gruesome murder of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ahoada Police Headquarters, Late SP Bako Angbashim.
SP Anghashim was murdered in cold blood while on duty in Odiemudie Community in Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State in September.
Top on the list of the suspects made available to newsmen are the suspended Eze Igbu Akoh II, Eze Cassidy Ikegbidi; Chief Anthony Kpasa; Friday Okpara Lot; Buduka Egwunugwu; and Precious Amaezi Aka Celina.
The list also contains the Eze Ekpeye Logbo III, HRM Eze Kelvin N. Anugwo; HRM (Dr) Felix Otuwarikpo; Loveday Jack (aka. Rugged); Robinso Umunna; Matins Cassidy; and Stanley Amos, among others.
