Mighty Jets Confirm New Club Captain

Ahead of their 2023/2024 NNL season opener against Yobe Desert stars on Saturday, Mighty Jets international FC of Jos have confirmed Saleh Muhammed as the club’s new captain.
The cheering news was disclosed by the technical crew at the training ground amidst joy and excitement among staff and players of the club.
Speaking shortly after his appointment, Muhammed expressed appreciation to the General Manager, Mr. Ferdinand Mbum, the technical crew and his colleagues for the new responsibility vested on him.
He said “I am honored to lead this historic club in the capacity of a captain because I have been a lover of Mighty Jets right from childhood.
“To play and also lead the club is one big dream that will stay with me forever.”
Saleh also thanked his predecessor, Alkaseem Muhammed and applauds him for a job well done, promising to toe his path and ensure the unity of the team moving forward.
The new captain also assures the management, fans and well wishers, of the team’s commitment to deliver a great outing in the 2023/2024 NNL campaign.
He therefore, pleaded for patience as the new management has come up with great innovations and ideas that will move Mighty Jets International FC forward.
Meanwhile, the outgone Captain Alkaseem Muhammed said he was proud and fulfilled having led the club for the past two years, and in turn promised to back his closest friend Saleh Muhammed to excel.
Alkaseem noted that “The choice of Saleh as club captain is a good move, I have been with him for a long time as we’ve been roommates and friends ever since we met and he’s a fantastic character on and off the pitch, he loves people and will give his best.”
