I Have Achieved My Long Time Dream – Ebi
Super Falcons and Naija Ratels defender, Onome Ebi says she has achieved her long time dreams by playing in the 2023/24 Nigeria Women’s Football League.
Ebi who captained Abuja- based Women’s team in their 1-3 loss to Nasarawa Amazons in their season opener added that the achievement which she thought will never come to fruition means a lot to her.
Speaking with newsmen after the match, she said, “First I was scared but I said no, I need this experience again.
“I am really excited playing against young girls. Before the game, they came around me and said ‘senior, senior, senior. It was a good game and after the game, we took pictures with players looking forward to brighter future.
“And I said, I have finally fulfilled my long time dreams that I thought I will never ever achieve, but it happened today”.
