NPL: Rivers United Hosts Remo Stars, Today
The rescheduled match day one encounter between former champions, Rivers United and Remo Stars will be played today, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
The 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) match day one clash involving both teams was postponed due to United’s involvement in the CAF Confederation Cup.
With that in mind, the game will now go ahead today, as the Stanley Eguma-led side is still looking for its first win of the season after it suffered one nil defeat to Niger Tornadoes last Sunday.
Meanwhile, last weekend, Remo Stars came back from behind to beat Rangers International 2-1, in a match day two encounter, at the Remo Stars Stadium.
