‘NFF To Build Team Hotels, Stadiums With FIFA Funds’

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, has revealed the project that the federation will embark with the FIFA funds Tidespotrs source reports.
Gusau also expressed that the country’s apex football body is very keen on the judicious use of funds in the administration of the game in the country and it is very important to reduce cost, especially in the accommodation of players of the national teams, while camping in the country.
To this effect, FIFA Forward support fund will be deployed to the building of hostel accommodation and other infrastructure within the Package B complex of the MKO Abiola Stadium, Abuja. The project will commence next year.
“By this time next year, Gusau said.
“We hope we have started and made some good progress in the building of our hostel accommodation for players and officials of the national teams through our FIFA Forward support fund.”
NFF will have the provision of the next phase of support of FIFA in the FIFA Forward 3.0. If you remember, I tried to make this known, that I am going to use that opportunity to build infrastructures like hostel accommodation.”
While the project for the building hostel accommodation for the national teams, Gusau also explained that infrastructures will be upgraded regarding football pitches at the MKO Abiola Stadium.”
