Inauguration Of Community Football Team Excites Rector

The Acting Rector of Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic, Rumuola Port Harcourt, Dr Moses Neebee has hailed Gure Community in Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State over the inauguration of a football club, Gure All Stars Football Club in the community.
According to him it is a welcome development because Gure All Stars FC will help football elders in the community to enhance their fitness.
Dr Neebee said this last Sunday in an exclusive interview with Tidesports shortly after he kicked off a novelty football match between Gure All Stars and Doburo All Stars FC for the inauguration of Gure All Stars at the Gure Primary School field.
He expressed excitement over the Gure All Stars, saying that he had see a medium through which the elders would come out and engage themselves in the round leather game.
He thanked the organizers of the Gure All Stars FC to try and ensure the sustainability of the club because it will bring a lot of old football players together.
“ It is a welcome development because it will help people like me to do more exercise.
“ I want to thank the organisers for their efforts in ensuring that today’s Gure now have All Stars FC” Dr Neebee, said.
Also speaking the captain of Gure All Stars Sorbarinor Ebenizer thanked Dr Neebee for honouring the invitation assuring him that the committee will try there possible best to ensure Gure All Stars see the day light.
He also thanked all the players that came for the inauguration.
