PH Club 1928: Rivers United Applauds Green Over BoT Chairman Victory
Rivers United FC has congratulated the Commissioner for Sports in Rivers State, Barrister Chris Green on his election as the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Port Harcourt Club 1928.
Green emerged victorious as the Chairman of BOT of the foremost social, sports recreational and family-oriented club in Nigeria, having pulled the highest number of votes.
In a statement signed by the General Manager, Dr Okey Kpalukwu, on behalf of the management, technical crew, players and backroom staff of Rivers United, and made available to Tidesports yesterday, described his election as the Chairman of the BOT of Port Harcourt Club 1928 as a clear demontration of quality leadership skills.
“Congratulations to Barr. Chris Green for his victorious election to emerge as Chairman Board of Trustees, Port Harcourt Club 1928.
“By having the highest number of votes, it has shown the trust and confidence the members placed in his leadership and ability to become the Chairman of BOT. We at Rivers United are congratulating him. We are proud of him,” he said.
